The UK Charity Awards are annual awards for outstanding achievements within the UK not-for-profit sector. Categories reflect the management of charities and not-for-profits, and awards are made to individuals, departments and whole organisations.
Charity Project PK UK was awarded Charity of the Year at the Charity Times Awards in September 2023.
The judges lasting demonstrated an impressive fundraising effort and an excellent ability to create lasting change for its beneficiaries. The award recognised Charity Project PK international work over the course of the last year, and in particular the efforts in responding to the Pakistan floods and the Turkiye-Syria earthquake.
As well as the international work, the award recognised the domestic programmes focus, looking at UK poverty for people affected by the cost of living crisis.
Charity Project PK UK was awarded Charity of the Year at the Third Sector Awards in September 2022. The Third Sector Awards recognises the efforts of charities around the UK, from fundraising campaigns to marketing and communications work.
The award recognises the significant work of Charity Project PK, particularly in 2021, during which the charity experienced a record-breaking year raising over £38.6 million.
Despite the unprecedented impact of the pandemic and financial strains of the UK economy, Charity Project PK continues to support millions of people in struggling communities across the UK and the globe, continuing to alleviate poverty, empower communities, and respond to disasters.
As the pandemic impacted the ability to fundraise in person, Charity Project PK nimbly adapted and raised ground-breaking figures during the key month of Ramadan through improved digital efforts across all channels, raising £17.6 million in 2021 alone.

Here at Charity Project PK, we’re partnered with a range of local community-based and larger national organisations to help support and empower disadvantaged individuals and communities across the country.
We also support emergency response initiatives across the UK so when emergencies hit, we’re able to help communities in need. And as a result of the Coronavirus pandemic, we also support a number of organisations offering support to people affected by Covid and the economic impact of the virus.
