2022 was a year of immense difficulty for communities in need. Natural and climate-change related disasters, the ongoing impact of war and conflict and economic decline, forced some of the world’s most vulnerable communities to face unprecedented crises.
Our international programmes and emergency response teams were needed more than ever, and thanks to you, our teams were able to serve communities in their hour of need, including those affected by the floods in Pakistan and Bangladesh, hunger crisis and earthquake in Afghanistan and drought in East Africa.
We also delivered 31 projects to help transform lives across the UK.

Since 15-year-old Shyhrete’s father passed away, our orphan sponsorship programme has been truly life-changing for Shyhrete and her family: thanks to you, they could buy land for agriculture, a cow, and a dozen birds.
Passionate about football, Shyhrete now plays for a local club, and even represents Kosova nationally in the under-16 group.
Charity Project PK support has meant her family could afford training, travel, and other school and sport-related expenses.
“I am very happy that I am realising my dream”, Shyhrete says.
